french macarons

During the long weekend, I was working on a baby shower invitation nonstop and needed a break from it. I've been wanting to make french macarons for quite awhile now and thought it was the perfect excuse to get outside to get some fresh air and walk around the city while getting some of the ingredients that I needed. Being a perfectionist, a new challenge always makes me nervous that things won't turn out well, but gladly, the macarons turned out surprisingly well! :D I took some pictures during the process to share them with my beloved readers!!
